Live streaming an event creates a suite of valuable assets which include the shared experience, another property that can be monetised and a catalogue of valuable content assets. Leading cultural organisations have utilised digital content production and distribution successfully to build their brands and widen their audience reach significantly. Dougal Perman will chair a panel of cultural content pioneers who have utilised remote participation to engage audiences who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience their work. Panelists will include producers from Berlin Philharmonic’s Digital Concert Hall, UK National Theatre’s NT Live, The Met: Live in HD, National Gallery Live Broadcasts and Scottish Ballet’s Biennial Digital Season.

A very special Keynote with Oscar Winning VFX Supervisor, Ian Hunter (Co-Founder / Creative Director, New Deal Studios). Hunter is a highly innovative storyteller in the field of motion picture visual effects and has overseen the production of many complex sequences from some of the great blockbusters of our time. Securing numerous awards for his work in both features and commercials, Hunter has won several VES Awards for his work on sequences for the likes of ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘Inception’ and the Bafta and Oscar nominated, ‘First Man’; he was also recently a visual effect supervisor on the film Interstellar.  A true visionary, Hunter deftly utilises his experience in visual effects and film design into the cutting-edge virtual reality world.
