BREAKFAST WITH MIH: GOING INTERNATIONAL – 09:30 > 10:30

Like every year, “Breakfast with MIH: going international” will represent the opening content of the Linecheck meeting during which partners, stakeholders, delegates and speakers will learn about the development of MIH’s activities. This years’ focus will be on international projects, among which JUMP represents the main partner of the conference. JUMP will be presented and promoted to the audience by the words of Laura Gardes, JUMP’s coordinator, introduced by Linecheck’s General Director Dino Lupelli.

A&RING TODAY: TURBOHYPE VS LONGSELLER, NUMBERS VS TASTE?
– 15:30 > 16:30

Fish in the underground, accelerate, incubate, promote, stream, tour, push push push before the hyperbola goes down, then next phenomena please. Not only in Italy the artist’s half-life period seems to the attention of a social media post. Hypes are not new, but are hyper fast now. Success immediately, if you fail at the start, go back to your 9-5 job and never try again. Or is there still space for courageous signings based on taste and intuition, willing to set a sustainable career, giving a damn about if an artist could be successful or not, has great look and numbers yet or maybe too many already, if their music sounds too much unlike something else – or maybe too much alike?

AR NARRATIVES & TECH BUSINESS MODELS
– 17:30 > 18:30

The role of film narration in the creation of experiences both inside and outside urban subjects, objects and services. The Labirinto di Arianna of widespread, immersive technology. On the panel we identify maps, threads and graffiti to escape from Truman Show syndrome, where the stars are just spotlights and the user’s emotional reality is ignored.

JUMP NETWORKING COCKTAIL – 18:30 > 19:30

Welcome aperitif with DJ set and drinks.
An opportunity for Linecheck’s partners to break the ice over a drink and meet fellows from JUMP – the European Music Market Accelerator that provides a framework for music professionals to develop innovative business models.

MUSIC FOR LUXURY AND FASHION BRANDS
– 11:00 > 12:00

How the use of music in commercials affects consumers’ preferences? Which are the possible approaches to tell a brand through music? What does it change if this brand is a leader in fashion or luxury industry? The main market trends will be analysed in this panel, discussing and commenting products realized for brands such as Porsche, Swatch, Dolce & Gabbana, YSL, Fendi e Tod’s.

UNFORSEEN CIRCOMSTANCES: ARTIST CANCELLED, WHO CARES WHY?
 – 16:30 > 17:30

Hand on heart – do you really think fans care why their favourite act has just been cancelled? Well, unless it’s for obvious health or other compassion-inducing reasons, the answer is: NO. So what led to the point of no return? How do you manage the disaster? Managers, Agents and Promoters discuss the hows and whys of one of the most unpleasant topics in the music business.

JUMP’S CLOSING CEREMONY – 19:30 > 21:30

Final event with the whole JUMPFAM: fellows, tutors, board members and the whole JUMP team to look back on the last nine months, but also look into the future and what is coming up next.
